The forth exhibition in the 13 th. Nidbach Series

“More than two decades have passed since Eldad used to spend his family vacations at Arad. This was a city build with great hopes for the fulfillment of Ben Gurion’s vision of fertilizing the wilderness.
Since than Arad has changed, and now Eldad returns to it, accompanied by the pleasant memories of his childhood, some of which were recorded by his father’s camera.
Eldad’s camera, indifferent to the years that passed, brings those childhood memories to life, while simultaneously recording the landscape of the present Arad with the children playing in its streets. It seams as though his camera colors the present reality with the timeless quality that forms the childhood memories of all children at all times. This quality is charged into the current city landscapes, and by this charging making them all so precious, lovable and heart thrilling.”
