TALOS
Eran Ehrlich
17 May — 15 June, 2003
This exhibition confronts the dual nature of signs – their significance as well as their presence. This double status reduces the “efficiency” of Reading and enables us to consider the sign not just within the structure of reading but also as “raw material” refusing to be read.
About Eran Ehrlich – TALOS
This exhibition confronts the dual nature of signs – their significance as well as their presence. This double status reduces the “efficiency” of Reading and enables us to consider the sign not just within the structure of reading but also as “raw material” refusing to be read. Reading is presented as an act of violence that overshadows as much as it illuminates. Talos: a mythological figure that possesses its super-natural strength due to a secret whose dis-covery leads to the eventual extiction of Talos.
