Point Counter Point / Painting and Sculpture

The reality we experience, as we imagine, is a system of conceptions, which are point counter point, and the existence of the One depends on the existence of the “Other”. Heavy – light, beautiful – ugly,
light- darkness, faithful – traitor, life – death etc. These are mere conventions within our mind’s thinking system. We use them to conceive our personal “reality”, which most certainly projects different visual image in everybody’s brain. In his present exhibition Yoram Diamant tries to express the Point and the Counter point by using habits of thinking which were injected into our mind by means of a verbal symbols language throughout the human civilization.
