Painting – Loud and Clear

Akim’s workshop is operating now for 4 years. The works are the creation of 15 people with mental disabilities who are attending the Akim-Jerusalem workshop once a week. As Artists, they represent a disconnected group, which isn’t related to the actual artistic dialogue. Akim painters are people who are living a banal everyday life and this exhibition includes works in rehabilitation factories. Akim’s workshop is a way to project their inside urge to create and self-development.
