Inner Quest – Installation

The title of the exhibition derives from a “point of reduction” limited to a unique mould, the mould of a human face, that has been used to create a large quantity of contents, shapes and characters: “the few that holds the many“.
The artistic process combines fullness and emptiness, presence and absence, the whole and its components. Riesel’s work incorporates traditional sculpture and bronze cast with modern materials such as polyester, light energy, glass, iron, copper and fabric.
