Facing The Real

This exhibition presents the work of 13 young realist artists. The artists in this exhibition are all graduates of the Jerusalem Studio School or have studied with realist artist Israel Hershberg in other educational frameworks. Although these artists all share a common base, each artist has developed a personal and unique artistic language, drawing on past traditions but looking to the future in terms of subject matter and attitude toward realistic painting.
