Tzippi Pesachovitch
Curator: Tami Bezaleli-Shohet
12 Jun — 11 July, 2004
The exhibition Essence of the Human Soul is being held in memory of Tzippi Pesachovitch on the first anniversary of her death. She was murdered on 11 Sivan 5763, 11 June 2003, in the explosion of Bus No.14A on Jaffa Street. Tzippi was born and raised in Haifa, graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and worked as a graphic artist. She was married to Yoav and mother of two daughters, Yaara and Rotem.
Art and creativity were an integral part of her life, both professionally and at leisure. The works shown here were produced between the years 1980-2003, using various techniques (oil, acrylic, water and pastels); some are abstract, some figurative.
This exhibition is a memorial to Tzippi’s life and person.
