In Shelly Nadashi’s video performance – a dismantled story is told. The four seasons are used as a frame for the story of a young woman’s existential struggle between her external polished image and her hidden inner world. It is also the story of the vicious circle of the changing human conditions. Nadashi’s ability to combine the painful and the comically absurd, touches upon the complexity of human emotions. Though being a self portrait, this work is not an autobiography, but a portrait of a quasi poetess that creates metaphorical images anointed in self – irony.
