The tableware is ceramic, decorated with inscriptions and graffiti from checkpoints around Jerusalem. The tablecloth is decorated with patterns of the Jewish New Year and from the Shulchan Aruch \u2013 the code of Jewish rituals. The twelve chairs around the table are of papier mache. The Installation Shulchan Aruch is the voice of two artists regarding the Jewish-Israeli discourse on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The graffiti, the newspapers and \u201cthe prepared meal\u201d explore different ways of treating \u201cthe other.\u201d They wish to juxtapose the extremes of Israeli reality and the ritual of sitting down to a meal.
