Alex Goldberg seeks to perceive the world as a baby born in the 21 century would, trying to eliminate any preconceived notions or symbols of what the world looks like. This approach seems to him the most honest method of observation and execution, where his ultimate goal is to close the gap between perceiving the physical reality and putting it straight on the canvas, eliminating any kind of thinking in the actual painting process. The less conscious refinement we make of what we see the purer the distillation becomes, hence the more real and truthful the image. Forget about writing the perfect letter, it does not exist in the first place, and his paintings are not about that.<\/p>\n
\n","protected":false},"featured_media":8826,"template":"","categories":[205],"artists":[1535,1536],"exhibition":[1537],"curator":[1538],"years":[3764],"class_list":["post-2706","exhibitions","type-exhibitions","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-theme-exhibition","artists-goldberg-alex","artists-kaplanski-ruti","exhibition-new-members-2004","curator-bezaleli-shoet-tami","years-2004-en"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/art.org.il\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/exhibitions\/2706","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/art.org.il\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/exhibitions"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/art.org.il\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/exhibitions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/art.org.il\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/8826"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/art.org.il\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2706"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/art.org.il\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=2706"},{"taxonomy":"artists","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/art.org.il\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/artists?post=2706"},{"taxonomy":"exhibition","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/art.org.il\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/exhibition?post=2706"},{"taxonomy":"curator","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/art.org.il\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/curator?post=2706"},{"taxonomy":"years","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/art.org.il\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/years?post=2706"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
