The \u201ccircular\u201d sequence of the works imparts a cultic sense that suggests associations with primeval man. Even the style of the exhibition brings to mind cultic worship. The wolf, which proceeds through a colorful changing expanse, demonstrates the cyclical nature of life. The run of the wolf captures the motif of movement. In Seidel\u2019s horizontal works, the pack of wolves produces a whirlpool in which every change in color indicates a change in mood. The wolves advance through a field continuously charged with a different design. The transition from one stage to the next is emphasized by a slight modification existing between each work.
