In the early years of her childhood in Kibbutz Dalia, her family is a circle within the expanded family \u2013 the Kibbutz. Ayelet\u2019s painting is austere, frugal, deeply observing. The focusing of the gaze and the scrutinizing of details dissemble the whole, and the picture of the happy family on the lawn falls apart. She makes her corrections through emphasizing specific parts by their actual projection on thicker frames. Ayelet\u2019s palette sums up to just three colours \u2013 black, white and yellow \u2013 which portray an atmosphere of dejection.
