In his large-scale paintings, he re-examines the language of abstract painting while interweaving aspects of contemporary visibility in a world dominated by digital screens.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Amrani&#8217;s painterly work is based on abstraction of complex images, mainly representations of the organic body. By means of collage, he fuses these images with a wide spectrum of pictorial gestures, to create a range of color applications, oscillating between the expressive and the graphic. Amrani introduces a fascinating combination of broad, erupting brushstrokes with flat and restrained dabs of color.
